I had my app up and running in just a few minutes, way simpler than I expected

I was able to get my idea mocked up fast, and overall it was a smooth experience. It’s great for quick prototypes, though there are still a few rough edges here and there.

I’ve been trying to use it, but it keeps crashing on me often. It makes me a little nervous because I’m never sure if it’s going to work properly or if I’m going to lose what I’m doing. I’d feel a lot better if it were more stable or if there was some reassurance that this is being fixed

I’ve had a good experience with bolt.new overall. It’s fast, easy to mess around with, and kind of fun when you’re trying to build something quickly. But after using it for one project, I started to feel like the credits disappear way faster than I expected, even when I was only making small tweaks. Maybe it depends on how you use it, but if my case is anything to go by, I can see this getting expensive quickly for anyone using it regularly. It’s probably fine for occasional use, but I do wish the limits were a lot clearer before paying.

I tried bolt.new for a small dashboard I’d been avoiding for a while, the code it gave me was clean. I was expecting to spend half my time untangling stuff, but it was—actually, no, it was way more usable than I thought it would be.
It picked decent components, kept the files organized, and the structure made sense without me having to poke around forever. I still had to tweak a few things here and there, because of course it wasn’t perfect, but nothing felt like a huge mess.

Overall, it saved me a bunch of time and didn’t have that weird copy-paste AI code feeling. For a small project like this, I’d definitely use it again.
